ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in a small south Texas city on the border with Mexico, near the coast. After graduating from high school, I received a scholarship to the University of Texas at Austin, where I earned a B.A. in history in 1996. I then embarked on an eight-year career as a staff member and administrator at the School of Business at UT. My experiences working at UT eventually inspired me to seek graduate training in education. I received my M.Ed. in 2005 and am now a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Colorado at Boulder. My research interests focus on educational technology, educational psychology, and cognitive science. Please see my vita for additional information.
